This is Lance Phillips - honourable fan of The White since 1982. Lance started following us from gig to gig upon our arrival to the Toronto music scene. He kept all of our newspaper clippings from the 1980's, mounted them in a frame and presented them to us once he was finally booted from his parents basement a few years ago.
We asked him to stop coming to our shows in the 1990's because he would try to pawn himself off as our 'Canadian Road Manager' to the chicks. That, and the fact that he used to show up to our gigs with this ceremonial palm tree thing and try to set it up in our backstage area.
He loved our band and many of our groupies too! He is living proof that if you had long hair and hung around a rock band in the 1980's you could get laid! Hooray Lance!
